The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has announced Martin Temple as the new Chair of HSE.
It’s been a hectic few weeks at the end of a most enjoyable and challenging eight and a half years as Chair of HSE.
George Brechin has been appointed as interim Chair of the Health and Safety Executive, after Dame Judith Hackitt reached the end of her eight years as Chair of the regulator. This is a short-term arrangement while the process to recruit a permanent successor continues.
